JogNog
JogNog provides thousands of assessment and review questions based on state standards by grade level. JogNog is a free app with several in-app purchase options. Students can use JogNog for preparation and practice before state testing. JogNog also provides teachers with quiz builders and ways to share quizzes with students. Teachers can see student progress and help them prepare for testing.
Marshall Simonds Middle School 8th graders will be part of a JogNog pilot during the first year of their 1:1 program.

Type in your zip code, and this will bring you to a list of your local representatives. Select a senator or congressman and the app will open to a page devoted to that politician. You will find their contact information as well as the latest news feeds and links to a politician’s website and more,

Speed Geography is a game that tests your knowledge of the continents and countries of the world. The game includes a practice mode that allows you learning specific regions and a review mode that replays the mistakes made in the previous game.
